Charles graduated from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine with a BSc (Hons) in Osteopathic Medicine and Diploma in Naturopathic Medicine.

As well as being the principle Osteopath at Barry Osteopathic Practice he is also an associate Osteopath at the Cathedral Road Clinic in Cardiff.

His current field of interest within Osteopathy is the ''classical'' approach. He is also trained in Western Acupuncture and Cranial Osteopathy.

Classical Osteopathy uses gentle articulation of joints, soft-tissue release and manipulation of the musculo-skeletal system. The aim of treatment is to balance the nervous system and circulation to the affected parts of the body allowing the restoration of health and the relief of pain.

Cranial Osteopathy is a refined and subtle type of Osteopathic treatment that encourages the release of stresses and tensions throughout the body, including the head and sacrum. It is a gentle, yet extremely effective approach and may be used in a wide range of conditions for all ages.
